The project involves working as a 2D artist in a team of artists, developers, and animators to create 2D elements for a video game project. The assets and elements created would have been exported in the required format for use in a Unity 2D plat-former game. The main focus of the project was on creating quality 2D art, including lighting, environments, and parallax. The timeline for the project was tight, and availability was crucial.
Completing that project demonstrated my ability to work collaboratively with a team of artists, developers, and animators to deliver high-quality 2D art assets within a tight timeline. I was able to showcase my expertise in lighting, environments, and parallax, which are key skills required for 2D game development. Moreover, the experience I gained from working on that project demonstrated my ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which is a valuable skill in the game development industry. The successful delivery of that project served as an excellent addition to my portfolio, showcasing my abilities and experience as a 2D artist.
